Spend the afternoon with horses and like-minded women: aligning, reflecting, learning, connecting and sharing. The mindfulness group takes place at our quiet farm located central to Cambridge, Brantford and Hamilton.

Our equine friends are the ultimate examples of mindfulness. Horses, being prey animals, are constantly aware of their surroundings and living in the present, this awareness has kept them alive in the wild for centuries. They are also highly tuned in to energy and emotions, as you will witness, they offer us genuine reactions to even the smallest energetic shift. Horses also have a natural calming effect due to their slower heart-rate. When we are within the electromagnetic field of their heart, their biology regulates ours, slowing our heart-rate and calming us. Because of all this, practicing mindfulness and meditation around horses is extremely powerful as they are right there with us, 100% in the moment.
The Equine Mindfulness program is designed to be a space for women to come together with each-other and the horses to experience inner-peace, self reflection and a deep connection. For the whole 90 minute session, we will be in a space with the horses at liberty where they can choose to move freely.
Each session includes guided and silent meditation time, observation of and interaction with horses at liberty, group reflections at the end. Other activities such as more advanced liberty work with horses, mindfulness teachings and more will be incorporated as well to provide a unique experience every time. You will get to understand horses as a species and get to know them as individuals. There is so much we can learn from these incredible beings.
